Rules:
1. The management invites people in towns and rural areas to make a special effort to make exhibits for the Domestic Arts division, making the display more interesting and attractive. Each exhibitor may have only one entry per section.
2. Pre-registration is not necessary.
3. Exhibitors can obtain their exhibitor number and tags on Monday, September 7th, at the Kinsman Building, which will be open between noon and 8 p.m. Exhibitors must drop off their entries at this time.
4. Judging will be on Tuesday, September 8th.
5. Entries are to be picked up on Sunday, September 13th, after 5 pm.
6. Exhibitors should take careful notice of the size of the exhibit to bring.
7. All judges are qualified to judge the section they have been assigned. The judges’ identities are confidential and may change from year to year.
8. Any other article means: “something different” – not a duplicated article described in any of the sections in the same class. i.e., the other half of the cake, 2 pairs of fancy mitts, two quilts, or two paintings.
9. For public health reasons, all baked goods will be disposed of by the committee. To reduce waste, please use mini loaves and small quantities.

Pre-registration is not necessary. Exhibitors can obtain their exhibitor numbers and tags on Monday, September 7, at the Kinsman Building, which will be open from noon to 8 pm. Entries will also be accepted between noon and 8 pm. Judging will take place on Tuesday, September 8th.
NOTE: The Exhibition is open on Sunday, and therefore, articles will be available for pickup after 5:00 pm on September 13th.
RULES:
1. Entries are limited to one entry per exhibitor per section.
2. All entries must be the exhibitor's work and made within the past year. Entries must be from people residing in Nova Scotia.
3. Two or more pieces comprising one entry must be securely fastened together.
4. In the absence of competition in any section, or if the article or articles are of inferior quality, the judges shall award only such prizes as they deem the exhibit merits.
5. Any other article means: “something different” - not a duplicated article described in any of the sections of the same class. i.e., the other half of the cake, 2 pairs of fancy mitts, or 2 paintings.
6. All entries will be judged according to the following:
a. Craftsmanship (45 pts): the technical ability and skills exhibited by the craftsman while using materials knowledgeably and realizing their potential.
b. Design (25 pts) the structural shape and texture of the article in conjunction with any applied decoration. Design must align with the article's function and structure.
c. General Appearance (15 pts)
d. Colour (15pts)

Rules:
1. The management invites people in towns and rural areas to make a special effort to make exhibits for the Domestic Arts division, making the display more interesting and attractive. Each exhibitor may have only one entry per section.
2. Pre-registration is not necessary.
3. Exhibitors can obtain their exhibitor number and tags on Monday, September 7th, at the Kinsman Building, which will be open between noon and 8 p.m. Exhibitors must drop off their entries at this time.
4. Judging will be on Tuesday, September 8th.
5. Entries are to be picked up on Sunday, September 13th, after 5 pm.
6. Exhibitors should take careful notice of the size of the exhibit to bring.
7. All judges are qualified to judge the section they have been assigned. The judges’ identities are confidential and may change from year to year.

Pre-registration is not necessary. Exhibitors can obtain their exhibitor numbers and tags on Monday, September 7, at the Kinsman Building, which will be open from noon to 8 pm. Entries will also be accepted between noon and 8 pm. Judging will take place on Tuesday, September 8th.
NOTE: The Exhibition is open on Sunday, and therefore, articles will be available for pickup after 5:00 pm on September 13th.
RULES:

a. Craftsmanship (45 pts): the technical ability and skills exhibited by the craftsman while using materials knowledgeably and realizing their potential.
b. Design (25 pts) the structural shape and texture of the article in conjunction with any applied decoration. Design must align with the article's function and structure.
c. General Appearance (15 pts)

2. An exhibitor may make only one entry per section.
3. All photos must be firmly matted for the most effective display of the photo (not framed and no glass).
4. The exhibitor must have taken all photos.
5. No photo-shopped photographs or AI-enhanced photos
6. Entry should have a title, the date the photo was taken, and, if possible, technical information (e.g., shutter speed, etc.)
