General Information
- Classes: SUV, Front Wheel Drive, Rear Wheel Drive, and Van
- Registration fee is $20.00 per car, plus $10.00 gate admission for everyone in the vehicle.
- Vehicles must be on the grounds one hour before derby start time.
- Pre-registration and number reservations are available by calling 902-759-8077. All drivers must complete and sign a registration form before the event begins.
- Prize payouts will be issued following the Exhibition by e-transfer or cheque. Ensure all mailing and email information is complete and legible.
Prize Payouts
SUV Class - 1st Place — $200
Front Wheel Drive, Rear Wheel Drive & Van Classes - 1st Place — $300, 2nd Place — $200, 3rd Place — $100
Rules
1.Stock gas tanks located behind the rear axle must be removed. Gas tanks located in front of the rear axle may remain. Auxiliary fuel tanks must be securely fastened, positioned no further forward than the rear of the front seat, and equipped with proper fuel line fittings. No gas cans, bungee cords, wood, or rope permitted.
2. A non-flammable fire shield must be securely installed between the driver and auxiliary fuel tank.
3. Any fuel leakage will result in immediate disqualification.
4. All glass, mirrors, headlights, taillights, chrome moldings, antennas, sun visors, and dangerous objects must be removed. Windows may not simply be rolled down.
5. Windshield removal is optional. If the windshield remains installed, the driver must wear a full-face helmet with visor. Helmets with glasses only are not permitted.
6. Approved seat belts or racing harnesses are required.
7. One post-to-post bar or pipe (maximum 2") may be installed between the B-posts, and one rollover bar (maximum 4") may be installed from floor to roof.
8. Only one automotive battery is permitted. It may be mounted anywhere in the vehicle but must be securely fastened and covered.
9. Radiators and transmission coolers must contain water only and remain in the original position or be removed.
10. Front bumper ends may not be cut. No bumper reinforcing is permitted. Only stock-type bumpers are allowed, and trailer hitches must be completely removed.
11. Fenders may only be trimmed for wheel clearance.
12. Vehicles must be cleaned of all debris and all flammable materials removed, except the dashboard. Passenger front floor mats may remain only if being used as a battery box. All airbags must be removed or disabled.
13. All vehicles are required to have functioning brakes.
14. A 16" diameter inspection hole must be cut in the hood around the carburetor area.
15. All doors must be securely fastened using chain, wire, seat belts, or welding.
16. The driver’s door may be reinforced externally with plate steel extending no more than one foot ahead of or behind the door.
17.The hood and trunk/tailgate may each be fastened in two locations plus hinges. Any secured trunk lid must have a 12" inspection hole.
18. No welding of frame seams or adding metal to the frame is permitted. Frames must remain stock for the make and model. Broken frames may only be repaired with one 4" x 4" x 3/8" patch on one side of the break.
19. Rear leaf springs may not be reinforced, altered, or welded. No blocked shocks, spring jacks, or shackles permitted. Vehicles must maintain free suspension movement, and air shock lines must be cut.
20. Rims must be stock type and size. No split rims, double tires, liquid-filled tires, studded tires, tractor tires, skid steer tires, or aggressive off-road tires permitted. Only passenger or light truck tires allowed.
21. Both front doors must be painted white and display a clearly visible number.
22. Vehicle decorations must remain in good taste. No profanity, nudity, or hate-related graphics permitted.
23. All work on vehicles must be completed before entering the track area.
24. A $100 protest fee is required to challenge another vehicle’s legality. The fee will be refunded if the protested vehicle is found in violation.

DIVISIONS: BRING YOUR OWN LAWN MOWERS
1. Stock – Children’s class. Mowers don’t need decks. No other modifications. Parents must be on site.
2. Stock Modified – can have pulley and/or tire swap.
3. Modified – all other modifications.
PRIZES: 1st $50, 2nd $30, 3rd $30 per class combined weight. Modified – No prize money.
PULLING RULES:
- Each class will run twice adding the 2 distances together.
- Tractor/ATV/side x side can only enter once (can have 2 drivers 1 hook each)
- Drivers must always remain seated; ATVs included.
- All classes must have helmets.
- Stock and Stock Altered to follow Crapaud Ex rules. (crapaudexhition.com/lawnmower rules)
- Modified Lawn Tractors are MTTPA rules.
- Stock and Stock Altered will run max weight at 1100lbs and 12-inch hitch
- Modified will run 1200lbs and 13-inch hitch
- ATV/Side x side must have 13-inch hitch max to the plate, can have a ball or just a hole
- ATV/Side x Side no added weight and no passengers.
